The CCCEM team of workforce development professionals work with the region’s diverse education leaders, community-based organization leadership, civic and employer-based business teams to facilitate real-world experience with paid internships for STEM Core students at major employers, as well as working with Silicon Valley Leadership Group, Chambers, and Workforce Development Boards, to build capacity to serve the underrepresented with employment, internship and training options.

The former Workforce Institute (WI) was a recognized in the business world as a customized trainer throughout San Jose, Santa Clara County, Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area. Created by the San José-Evergreen Community College District in 1988, the WI partnered with a diverse array of organizations and companies across many industry sectors in empowering employees and enabling engagement and success in today's complex and competitive work
As a primary focus area of CCCEM, Business Solutions will offer a One-Stop Resource of customized training solutions on demand. We will bring braided funding options to the workforce investment system and the targeted industry sectors. Our programs are customized to the specific needs of the organization by deploying a comprehensive assessment, a situation analysis and a mapping of current needs to training solutions.
